Surf's Up! Birthday Cake
Received a request to make a Surfboard, Sand, and Waves birthday cake for her husband. They had just arrived to La Jolla earlier this year and is enjoying the sunshine, sand, and waves that San Diego offers. Her design idea was to create a chocolate cake covered in buttercream, waves going around the perimeter then topped with 3 huge surfboards, a palm tree, lots of sand, beach towel, sandals, and beach ball. Surf's up! Cake: Chocolate Cake Filling and frosting: Vanilla Buttercream Design Cake Toppers: Fondant waves going around the perimeter, 3 huge surfboards, a palm tree, beach towel, sandals, and beach ball.
